It is a fisherman town acclaimed as one of the best Fish and Chips in England, I tried the Mag's Pie when I was there, pretty crowded with long queue. The journey from Newcaslte to Withby take quite awhile with not much trains schedule. So I had to leave quite early to catch the last train about 7pm, not much wander around since Whitby Abbey closed.
