Long Weekend

It is a long weekend for me here, will going back to office on Wednesday, boring huh? So how are those people who has longer weekend than me (for a week) spending their time?

I made those simple postcards during the weekend, at first my intention was to make a little bit surprise postcard for teacher's day and ended up I made more. Since I don't really have time and enough material (I ran out of glue and double sided tape) so I just keep it simple. All the patterned papers I used is free wallpapers sample from office and I just cut and paste, shape it into something else and viola a post card (some of the ideas, credit to my bf <3). Since I am signed up for my postcrossing project, I might sent those hand made post cards to the people. My fave is the sunflower one.

Well hope everyone enjoy their long weekend. I will post more pictures soon!

PS: a few of it will end up on your door step, watch out :D

Primary School Reunion

I have known the twins (Sasa and Kaka) since kindergarden, Femmy since 5th grade primary school and Elis was the first one sat next to me on the first day I started my 1st grade. Years by years gone, I never thought we will still meet up and hang out.

I left my hometown when I was 12, about the same time with Elis, she continued her studying at Singapore. Sasa and Kaka left to States after they graduate from High School. We all almost never met for 13 years, this is kind of a reunion. Everyone still stay the same only we grow older and have more serious things to do. Sometimes there are some friendships that will last longer.

Pantomime Day

Mary is a make up artist, while I was in Allendale, I think it was somewhere near end of year when they have the yearly pantomime. That year, they have the Goldilock and Three Bears plays, the villagers participated on the show from the kids to the chief. I snapped some of the pictures on the backstage.

Lake District and Windermere

It was near Easter 2009, when Mar and Simon brought me to Lake District and stopped over at Windermere on the way back. We climb up to the hill and saw a beautiful scenery, it was quite long journey to the top of the hill. It is a beautiful place too bad it was gloomy day when I was there while at Windermere the weather is bit brighter.

Corbridge

Easter Holidays - Alnwick Castle

Easter 2009 was amazing, I went for tons of trips from the North West to the South West of England.

Mar and Simon took me to Alnwick Castle, for those who not familiar with it, actually the castle was one of Harry Potter's scene, where they learned how to fly. We passed by Rothbury, which is a very beautiful small town with nice and cozy houses, I really want to stay here!

Alnwick Garden and Castle. The Castle is privately own by Duke of Northumberland.
